On explosions , ok I know WWII pics are black and white but most you look , ships being hit , its looks mostly like bubbling black clouds of smoke and small piece of the ship going up..
HMS Braham explodes Barham was hit by three torpedoes from the German submarine U-331, commanded by Lieutenant Hans-Dietrich von Tiesenhausen. The torpedoes were fired from a range of only 750 yards providing no time for evasive action, and struck so closely together as to throw up a single massive water column. As she rolled over to port, her magazines exploded and the ship quickly sank with the loss of over two thirds of her crew. as the pic is B&W its hard to tell how much flames are in there , but it looks like black smoke makes us the vast majoirty of the explosion. mybe one for the mods to adjust .. |

But technically, most ships in WWII didn't suffer massive cordite explosions. Different things blow up differently.

In one of the screen shots thread posted before, there was a shot of the Queen Mary - and it looks like the lower picture, not as the one above. I am just too lazy to dig it up it. Someone who has the game can post it for you. |

Ya its the mission editor was calling it such, its just a huge european liner compared to the game ;] Queen Mary class to be precise, the actual QM isnt in the game.

EXACTLY How on earth can they get away with calling that thing a Queen Mary class, its not even close. I bet they think the olympic class (titanic etc) had 2 funnels as well.
