This one is beginning to drag on so I'll give in to the fact the plane is at Gibraltar Airport.

Well that was misleading since Gibralter is not east of France. I was starting to look at airports in Finland.

No, this is not U-47.
Off course U-47 is famous for the snorting bull emblem but there were other U-boats that carried the emblem. Maybe not so easy after all.
