And looks like Cruz is about outta luck.
I plan to vote with a write in for Pat Buchanan. I'm not voting for either of the two candidates in the parties.

I wonder which item his running partner Carly Fiorina will receive first. Her pay check or her lay-off slip?

I half expect Cruz to mount a third party run for president, which in all likelihood, would lead to another Clinton in the White House.

Trumps success can be explained, and it is not too difficult. He poses against political correctness, serves the sentiments of those who think the US does not get the recognition and respect in the world anymore that it deserves, and claims to be immune againmst getting owned by big money for he has his own already, thus not being prone to getting further corrupted by lobbies and billionaires.
Honestly said, I do not think Clinton is better. She may be different, and certainly far more left, but I see her as foul an apple as Trump. I thus will not say she is "the lesser of two evils". The harms she will do, are only different form those that Trump will do - but as severe. The founding fathers do not stop to rotate in their graves these days. One can only cry over what has become of the intentions.

It appears to be the direction this will take. However, let the debates between the two begin. Hillary needs to grasp what she has learned over the years in the political light and use it to her advantage. Trump needs to stop with feel good "this will be great" cheer leading and come up with real solutions to real problems.

Okay. is it time for predictions?
I'm going to go way out on a limb here and predict that Donald Trump will win the GOP nomination and that Hillary Clinton will win the democrat's nomination to make it a Trump vs Clinton race for the white house. Pretty good predictions
