Yes, I followed all the instructions. I think the problem might be version of my game, I figured out that since none patch available is available for my version of game, it's patched to the latest version but when clicking SH5 icon it shows 1.0.5.0 - none of the patches work for me and I really don't know what to do now.

@Beerme - I tried without the DE mod but it's still not working.

did you try updating by running the update app found here:-

I'm probably missing something but why did you remove TDW_Ship_Inertia_1_1_0 from the list but still using IRAI_0_0_39_Inertia_Damage?

Thanks sober. Listing your mod order is very helpful. Also setting U-Play to offline mode. It was messing up my mods badly.

First off all I would like to say thanks to Sober for the informative post and guides to his mod.

With that out of the way, I seem to be having an issue with the game and these mods. Every time I open the map, be it with the M key or the wheel icon, I get a CTD. *EDIT: I just checked the bunker save and when I ask about patrol orders I get a CTD.*

This is a new thing for me because the game and mods were working fine and nothing has changed except the CTDs. Occasionally if I remove my mods and re-enable, the game works. Though even that has stopped working now.

Would like some advice on how to fix this.

PC Specs.

Great mod combo, have been trying it out for the past few days. I did notice one thing, just wanted to make sure I got everything right:

Why aren't my lights on and why do they look like yellow blocks?

It's an Nvidia card issue.
Just remove bec_submarine.dds from the texture mod folder to fix it.

Ahoi,

thanks for this Modlist, a nice re-entry to SH5 to get an idea which Mods to use.
Sober's screenshoots and the activity in this forum made me to reinstall SH5 and i was deeply impressed while leaving Kiel habour at night with buoys at night and later on the Ostsee with 7-8BFT hearing the dark, cold sea. And after that night that beautyful sunset... great job modders!

Unfortunalety the game now runs unreliable due to the drunken navigator i got
on my boat (installation), must be a nephew from some important guy in BDU or something like that...

most time when i start the game: i get CTD when i open the map (Icon, from within the boat or by [M]-Key...). But when the map (nav) works 1st try, the game runs smooth like the soup from my cook the whole game-evening...
It's like atleast 3 of 4 times i start the game that the map is kicking me CTD, i have the 'feeling' that clearing the Ubisoft-Cache and restarting the computer increases the chance that my map-officier is not that drunk to CTD...

I think, xSmithyx and me have a similar problem:

My Computer specs are similar like xSmithyx's: I7+Nvidia and 6GB-Ram (Win7/64bit).

Mod Load is 'sobers 0700 02042013.mep'.

Fresh install (made it a couple of times last days) updated to 1.20 (non-Steam) and patched/fixed thanks to TDW.... SH5 running in Offline mode.

I don't think that this Map-CTD-Problem is related to Mods or the EXE, it runs smooth when it started once - but for some guys it don't start smooth every start... (first act: hit M and hope not to CTD -> pleasue whole evening).

Maybe someone had similar problems and solved them or even was able to localize that CTD to something.
What i observed: when disabling OHII i didn't had that problem, so it could relate to 'only 6Gig'? - I tried OHII base instead of OHII_full - same problem...

(lol, maybe I should not shut down the game as soon it runs stable again, like now while iam writing, but should play OHII-Campaign in realtime the next days - have to talk about that to my wife and employer )

Hi all, and thanks to everyone involved in the modding community ON YAS

So I had a little trouble getting sobers latest profile installed.

Issue 1: I didnt understand how to apply the patch 1 for IRAI_0_0_39_ByTheDarkWraith. You see the zip file for the patch didnt come with directories to establish the structure it seems to need to recognise the install. So I created a directory "IRAI_0_0_39_ByTheDarkWraith_Patch_1" and placed the zip files of patch 1 for the patch into the created directory under the MODS file. This seems to atleast have fooled the mods enabler but I dont know if this workaround causes problems yet.

Issue 2: Sobers mod thread links to revision 1 of sobers DC barrels mod not revision 2. I cant find v2 anywhere. I tried my workaround by renaming the V1 directory like in issue 1.

Issue 3: Current revision of the TDW Generic Patcher v1.0.81.0 when Sober links to v79 in his first post and his latest mod profile looks for v80. I again used the workaround of renaming the directory.

Issue 4: New UIs are at version 7_3 not 7_1 as in the links and Sobers profile. I did my workaround again with renaming to v7_1. I'm not sure what to do with the dials? Or any other install steps than just copying the MODS file from the downloaded archive?

Anyway after doing these four things I have now loaded sobers profile revision sobers 0600 05042013

Am I on the right track or is this going to give me problems? Thanks

Default FuMo-29 removal.

Does anyone know how or if I even can, remove the radar in the upgrades screen? I am trying to start a campaign in either Western Approaches or Drumbeat and its giving me the FuMo-29 by default with no option to remove it. Maybe its a mod messing with the epuipment upgrade fix, I dunno?
