Some really nice pix here

My small effort

Taken by hitting the Delete key on the Number Pad which hides all the controls (and of course hitting Print Screen key).

Nice feature

Cheers

That's an interesting screencapture...did you do something artistic with it in Photoshop? Or is that the way you actually see SH4 with your Rig/Graphics card. I'm asking because the distant mountains don't look quite right and your water looks very unusual. Do you have ROW Mods enabled? I do use all the ROW Mods, and with my GC (8800GTX) I see different visuals altogether. I'm just curious.

That's how I see it. The only thing I've done is to make the pic look a bit clearer and I don't use ROW right now. But what do you mean by saying the mountains don't look right? How do your mountains look like? Now I'm curious.

Default Thanks, Kriller, for the wonderful target background

It's a beautiful day for target practice thanks to Kriller's ROW add-on.

Hey, look, there's parts falling out of the sky

Oh, goody, here comes another one!

That should take care of him

Yep, that did the trick all right

Almost crunch time

Hey, Yamada Tarō, come on in, the water's fine. It's not as deep as I thought, though:hmm:

Here are two shots as I see SH4....These are reduced in size from my 1920X1200 originals.

I was referring, in my earlier post, to the fact that your mountains in your pic seem flat and ghosted out/bluish. I once had the same thing occurring with ships on the horizon. Somewhere along the line i got the correct set of Graphics card settings/Mods to make that go away. The pics above do not show a dramatic difference in the distant mountain skyline, but they aren't ghostly I don't think. I'll need to sail back to Dutch Harbor again to more closely match your pic's angle/perspective on entering the harbor.

As for ROW Mods, you really should get them....the Water makes all the difference...and the "reflections" are very evident in the two pics above.

I know that ROW is incredible, I had it installed some time ago. But then came patch one and I thought I wait until it is safe to use ROW again. Well, after a while I completely forgot to download ROW.
But I have to admit that I really like the mountains I see, in fact I think this is more realistic. If you look at moutains that are really far away you will just see some blueish, blurry images.
