Everyone's pictures are spectacular. I love all the different ways people have presented their pics (from black and whites to film reels). Very awesome

smoke can be as dense as it wishes....one thing I hate though is
smokestacks that suddenly ends 500m up in the air.

Really kills the immersion for me.

Thats Awesome and thank you your compliment I follow your work also. I wish we could get a ScreenShot Art thread going as I know some guys dont like Edited Art in the ScreenShot Thread I'm no artist but I like to work with graphics and Photos I would like to be able to start from scratch but thats beyond me. Keep up the good work one day we may get A ScreenShot Art Thread.
@noren thanks for input I'll remember about Smoke cut off I can see what you mean.

Thanks for your kind words; only a note: I think everyone here is an artist, somebody doing mods, somebody with their knowledge, others showing pics. All in all, it´s the best of Subsim, isn't it?
Someday we´ll see that ScreeShort Art Thread.

, Silent Hunter 5 is the first of the Silent Hunter serie with the water weaves in three dimension , and this is NOT the only improvement over the older versions of this serie , walking all along the interior " and the exterior " of the sub , Full Dynamic Shadows, animated water flooding inside the compartements ,working engine arms ,etc etc etc and even the hot soup inside the kitchen, yes I know SH5 is not yet perfect but for 20 bucks we cannot get the Whole Earth and also the Moon

@Gunfighter: The new picture with the taller smoke columns looks a lot better, plus it looks like the smoke is dissipating more at the top. Very good work sir
