Pocket Battleship Mission
This is the same Carrier attack mission as the one for the Fubuki, except I edited it to use the Pocket Battleship, just so you would have a mission right away to test out the PBS. Right now for me anyway the mission CTDs when exited and the ships textures need fixing but this will give you a mission to test for any bugs.
Make sure to select the PBS and not the sub when starting the mission. I added a German sub on the surface that doesn't do anything but will keep some of the DDs busy for a while trying to sink it, instead of attacking you. Updated link, the old link isn't there anymore. http://files.filefront.com/PBS+Carri.../fileinfo.html Comments and suggestions appreciated. Peabody

Peabody I tried the PBB mission - excellent. I note that you included a light cruiser in the task force - any chance of changing this to something bigger?
I also liked the little air raid at the end there - good stuff. Cheers |

Sure I can make the Light Cruiser into something bigger, how about making it into the State of California? OH, you mean a bigger ship, no problem, want a heavy cruiser or a BB....maybe I'll go with a BB. No guts, no glory. Need any extra on your side if I do that, to handle the other small stuff shooting at you? Like I commented I did throw in a sub to get the DDs off your back, to give you a bit of time to knock out some of the bigger ships. Peabody

I'll change it to a Heavy Cruiser and check it out. EDIT: I put in two heavy crusiers and added a Fubuki DD. It's uploaded and ready to try. I have to go wire a house so I didn't do much testing. Just use the same download, I just replaced the original file with this one, so delete the other one and replace with this one. Peabody

Thanks for the mission.
I noticed one thing: You placed a surfaced Type IX-D2 in the mission. The enemy is concentrating on this Uboat and not on me. Anyway nice to take the Admiral Graf Spee on a ride. |
