CLAD in IRON series naval wargames for free. Get your copy now.
About 20 years ago, a bunch of like-minded people got together to make a naval wargame. That was us. We didn't know how to do anything, but we stubbornly pursued our dream. Our first Ironclads games were frankly bad, and the ones that followed lacked budget.
The Totem Games guys had never tried to make a commercially successful game in a commercially successful setting (hello, WW II in the Pacific). Surprisingly, there are still some crazy people out there like us (hello, we love you). Their support and advice has kept us going. Now we've made every possible mistake in computer game development, and in such an easy and convenient way we got the skills and knowledge to make a really good game. That game is Ironclads 3. We're pressed for time, we're pressed for money for a big project, but we've made a reasonable plan and we're taking action. And now, in our best tradition, we've decided to put everything we're doing in one place. Read this to find out what Totem Games has to offer you: you can download our Clad in Iron games free of charge (including 2 new scenarios), watch unique videos about the history of the Steam Navy, read unique content (as e-books) about the history of the Steam Navy, news about the next generation naval wargame IRONCLADS 3. Get your copy now (or whenever you like). |

Thank you for the information, Maxim. I have everything that your team has made, going back to the beginning. The only one that I still need is the latest Chincha Islands title, and that's on my Steam Wishlist.
I appreciate the free availability, but I like to have the games in my Steam menu, and I don't mind purchasing through Steam because it puts a contribution to your team's ongoing efforts in your coffers, to keep those great historical naval titles coming. I'm very much looking forward to purchasing the Chincha Islands title, and to the eventual release of Ironclads 3. I've had many, many hours of enjoyment from your titles. Keep up the great work! |

Thanks for the link, Maxim! I took the time to look around your Boosty site this morning, and I was telling my wife about it over morning coffee.
She bought the new Chincha Islands title for me on Steam so that I'd have all the games, and I'm also downloading, "Clad in Iron: War of the Pacific 1879" from Boosty as I type this. So I once again own all Totem Games titles. Anyone who hasn't tried these titles should follow Maxim's Boosty links and try one of the, "Clad in Iron"-series titles. They are all highly recommended! My wife also said that I should subscribe to your Boosty site, since I'm such a fan of Totem Games titles. I agree with her. So I'll be doing that soon. I may eventually convert over to the Totem Games Boosty site instead of Steam. I do run some non-Steam games, and I'd rather have my future purchase money go straight to Totem than have Steam take their cut. Thanks again for the link! |
