So I’m glad you figured out the problem guys

ALWAYS a fresh clean install from start, also DELETING all your previous saves (deleting your Documents/SH3 folder) and NO OTHER MOD than the ones provided!

I regret Fifi but Clean Install there is nothing to do CtD...no mods to add ..!!

(in fact i didn't want him in Atlantic)

Fubar's the only 1 that has... & so far, hasn't decided to share that info on what they did to resolve it.


On My part, just confirmed that it is happening, that the install I had & the save folder were in fact, brand new install set ups...


So, unless Fubar decides to lay out & let it be known just what they did... only option is... to just shart can the BS mix, & stick with the AS side... as well as the MS side... and wait for the next release...

Default Black Sea NYGM New

Fifi dans la procédure tu décris:
Ajout de la 30e flottille à Constanza pour jouer la campagne de la mer Noire, en remplacement de la 33e flottille. Sélectionnez UNIQUEMENT le sous-marin de type IIA dans SH3 Commander !! En juillet 44, demandez le transfert vers la 11e Flottille et désactivez le mod.

pour moi c est pas très clair
si j ai bien compris dans commander au démarrage je choisi Types 2A..je ne touche a rien d autre..
ensuite dans le jeux dans la sélection du départ de la flotte...je sélectionne "30e flottille à Constanza" en 1944 puis dans la page du jeu demande de transfère vers la 11e Flottille appliquer la demande (il dit: No request) puis ressortir du jeu et désactivez le mod. quand on relance on doit choisir Quoi la 11 ou quoi ? puis les sous marin d ailleurs pas de types 2A vraiment c est pas claire ton bricolage tous du moin pour moi...
j avais jouer a la mer noirs sur WaC 5.2 mais le montage est totalement diffèrent puisque sur celui ci c est un mod a part entière

pour la méditerranée

Activez ce mod lors de la campagne méditerranéenne (29 Flottille) du 01/12/1941 au 31/08/1944 commençant à la base de La "Spezia" se terminant à la base de Toulon.

j ai bien démarrer a la "Spezia" j ai effectuer quelque mètres puis Ctd

j ai 3 install fresh clean Atlantic... Mer Noire.. Méditerranée..

après 3 h d essaye j arrête je voie pas....

Icon14 NYGM New Méditerranée..

After several tries finally the campaign starts...
Fifi looks at the screen map you can observe the escort too close to the start
may be the source of the Ctds...

Ok, that said, here I go...

Now I'm going back to the Black Sea "breaking them" this one...

No secret. Just logic. If the Flotilla dates is different, the game most likely will not run. The first place I look is in the Flotilla.cfg files. Most times the issue is in there, as in my current case. Barring that, it is trial and error while attempting to resolved the issue.

I remembered I had included, long ago, a WAW mod for U-flotillas config files so we had a August 1939 start date and other corrections for our needs at the time. It is part of my overlay of a mod ( most are enhancements for my own gratification and eye candy ) NYGM. It never caused an issue as I had used several time, long ago, the NYGM Black Sea Campign, but that was just NYGM 2.5 and no updated files for ships and planes and the like as Fifi has now provided. ( Not sure why WAW file had a November start date. )

I tested Fifi's Black Sea mod before release, with the straight out of the box, current version at the time, of NYGM Enhanced, and it worked just fine. Saves and all. This was done without my NYGM mod overlay. So it is not Fifi's mod that is creating the CTD in my case.

Hello FUBAR295..
I don't know all of this, you are the shaman of the mod here, but I don't understand the manipulation with the dates.. the boats chosen... and the fleets.. as well as the period to start.. something is not working. . I tried several combinations I see the bar is loading then "auf wiedersehen"..
This is the first time that Fifi's work has bothered me...
But I'm sure we'll find...

Just went through the Flotilla.cfg &... there is no 30th Flotilla... but rather instead, notated "33rd Flotilla"...

.txt info, from that flotilla:

The 30th Flotille was disbanded moved to Flensburg and renamed the 33rd. For SH3 purposes they are one and the same.

If you look at the section above, you will see the progression of the 29th Flotille from Brest, to LaSpazia and finally Toulon.

So the Flotille.cfg file is not the issue as far as I can see. The 30th Flotilla did not have an emblem, historically, but the 33rd did.

Make sense?

Boy, I wish John Pancoast was around, he may have had and idea on what is going on.

Setpoint read via JSGME
Added 30th Flotilla to Constanza to play the Black Sea Campaign, replacing 33rd Flotilla. Select ONLY Type IIA submarine in SH3 Commander!! In July 44, request the transfer to the 11th Flotilla and deactivate the mod.

When we start via Commander selection Type2A then the date "In July 44"
in the Flotilla choice game we have the 30th Flotilla Constanza, I choose it on the map of the Flotilla ports.. then it says to request a transfer to the 11th Flotilla but this is refused because it requires a patrol to its credit
then if I deactivate the mod as it says the 33 Flotilla appears in Commander I select it to arrive on the flotilla map but the most 2A types
and departure to Bergen .. so it does not go ...

I think it may be necessary
choose 30th Flotilla via Commander as well as the date "In July 44"
carry out the first test patrol then when you return ask for 11 flotilla then exit the game deactivate the mods I have not tried
here I am fed up for today go to more FUBAR295

Guys,

Spent 2 days trying & trying to crash my game at ANY dates…
Tried Med files only, Black Sea files only, regular files…
I NEVER HAD ONE CTD!!
Usually I leave harbor at x64 TC, in my tests I even left at x128 (with shift+N) without any issue.

So I give up… I can’t fix something NOT happening
It only can be a corrupted file in the Mediafire transfer … somewhere …
Be patient and wait for next update, hopefully it has to be better

@ Kal: le fait d’avoir à sélectionner seulement le type IIA au départ de la campagne BS n’est pas mon bricolage … dans NYGM le IIA représente le IIB… c’est comme ça, c’est Stiebler qui l’a conçu !!

Hi guys,
I have started campaign (Wilhelmshaven 09.1939). Patrol boat which is escorting me out of the port keep ruunning into embankment, destroying itself. I tried many times but i don't knows how to fix it.
