radar Xerxes' Weathered Periscope

*sighs* well, I made my first graphic mod, hell, my first mod today.

It came out better than expected, and doesn't look too bad.

This mods the american scope.

If you want a gritty looking periscope, then this mod's for you!
I tried to make the periscope look more realistic, so I smudged up the lens, added some scratches, and blurred the graduation lines a bit.

Please give me any feedback or suggestions, or notify me of any errors I made. My ultimate goal was practice, so there's most likely something I did incorrectly.

Will check it out. What version of game is this for stock mods? What mod(s) is this for? FOTRS TMO for example have different periscopes.

It has versions for both 1.5 and 1.4, and it works with any mod that doesn't replace the periscope lens, so it probably won't work with any megamods that do so.
You can most likely still use this with those mods, it'll just replace whatever periscope they have.

COOL, what a beautiful texture you've made!

UPDATE

I've made textures for the german scope, and the TBT, and made a pack for all the weathered textures:

Enjoy!
