I believe you Jeff, not questioning your knowledge or anything, was just remarking as to how over the past 10 years, so many versions of GWX 3.0 have been uploaded to different places, that every other mod I download makes me question if this is the correct one, lol.

Welp, I'm out of ideas, still crashing even after using a different GWX 3.0 installer, and running it in administration mode, and win xps2/3.

GPU: RTX 2070 Super

Unfortunately yeah, this is looking like a steam issue, I just tried it on another computer (My MacBook pro 2018 on Bootcamp), and it still crashed. One thing I haven't tried yet is removing SH3 out of Program Files (x86), however, Steam doesn't like letting its users play the game when they are out of their directory given by steam.
