Default Can you create good "footage" of SG19: sinking of USAT Dorchester with software

I am researching how to create a few minutes of "footage" of HX 224 and SG-19 at sea and the sinking of the USAT Dorchester which occurred shortly after midnight on 2/3/1943 for potential museum/website use. Any advice on how to use existing software would welcome. Of course I would need appropriate permission from the software makes

Thank you in advance for your ideas and advice.
