I think it might be difficult getting 4 alternates... Did you have back-up players in the earlier Wolfhunt game?

No, and you may be right, it's likely no one wants to stand by and jump in. I will give it another 2 days and then kick off the hunt.
Question to all players: Does it matter if it is a "werewolf-themed game"? Or could it be something else, just the same format?

Since I read the entire first werewolf hunt thread () I'm really a fan of that story. I just saw the second hunt thread, and the story is also nice, but I like the attention to detail that came with the first hunt. (The map of the village and everything)

Well, the second one had a map too, though I think it's broken now. I agree that more detail would be good, though.
I don't really mind the theme, as long as it makes for good RPing. I liked both the first and second hunts just fine (Okay, the second one somewhat more, but that has more to do with the fact that I was not murdered on the first day).

Well, we can have another "werewolf" themed game, or something with a new theme, but the same basic rules and structure. The main difference is the element of the role playing. I'll let the players decide, post your preference in this thread.
Werewolf theme A sequel to the original game, there will be a sub with a crew, and it will be in a port with a second group of players. Some people complained that the original game was too complicated, with a third group (villagers). It really does not impact the game play, just adds RP elements. But this time around, it will be two groups. I will come up with a story, and there will be triggers that the players may/can trip that could add twists. This depends largely on how much the players put into the game. The players will RP as submarine crew and shore crew. Russian theme I prepared a few other themes after the first WWH, this is one of them. The main difference: the minority will be the "good guys", the reformers, playing against the majority, the "bad guys", the Commies (this is all in fun, no political slants intended). With this theme, the RP will be right out of all the spy cloak and dagger movies we've seen. Here's the basics: Quote:

Grr, hard choice.
The problem I see with the Communist game is that Moscow is a very big place compared to the setting of the previous two games, so it will be hard for the players to meet each other, especially at night. Could work if the game is mostly limited to a smaller area, like Red Square, though. Oh, will there be positions or ranks as in the previous game? Those helped establish characters a lot.
