First off; Congrats to the graduate to be in 3 weeks.I did not know you were in school, playing husband, father and friend to all along with two jobs, managing your servers and website, taking complaints and dishing out sound advice. Give your ticker a break friend.
No complaints here or suggestions but only a note to say thanks for all you have done for us all. Please add to your post what you majored in as my guess is business admin. Kudos dear friend to you and all yours. |

Fatal Errors From Server
Neal:
First, thanks more than I can express for the work you've done here to enrich the understanding of how these men went to war. Great Job. Those on permanent patrol will never be forgotten as long as this forum exists. Second, I've been experiencing a few (well... more than a few) fatal errors when searching for topics, mostly trying to troubleshoot some feature in SH3 or SH4. The error usually happens when I try to open a link in a new window (to preserve my spot in the search result list) There's an issue about not having enough memory and there are a few details (path to the file and the amount of memory requested), but the result is no page. This started about 9 - 12 months ago and is not something that happens on a consistent basis. I'm using IE 8 and it's not a very customized setup, so I don't expect that my browser is the source of the error, also the display looks a lot like some apache implementation. I'm guessing that with the addition of the SH5 forums the server may be getting taxed a bit. JD |

Well, I've got something which is broken: I can't access any of the recent reviews on the review page-SH5, NavyField, Silent War, nothing. Instead I get a blank page, it has the Subsim colors, but no text (failed to get ImageShack working on this forum, URL link). Thought it was due to my using NoScript for Firefox, but they aren't visible in Internet Explorer either.

i saw a post from a "guest" the other day
i assume guests arent supposed to have posting privledges so there must be an error somewhere with that. i had posted about it in mod section but got no response about it so i dont know if you even saw it |

I need to check, probably it is a spammer who had all his posts deleted but not his account.
Yes, list the issue here, I am going to roll up my sleeves and start knocking them out.

Thank you.
A bit Facebooky but could I suggest a "Like" button on posts? So you don't need to post just to say yes or I agree or it's good. It would allow people to show support (or lack thereof). |
