Man I wish I was there! It would be cool to have something like a weekend dogfight night.

@Oberon
You mustn't pull too hard on take off with the Korea jets. Otherwise their tail will hit the ground and you go kabooom. Apart from that you can't do much wrong in those (except the F84).

That's the craziest thing, I didn't pull back at all with the MiG-17, it just flipped up of his own accord Caught me by surprise and before I could correct it I was cartwheeling down the runway
The F-84 was my bad though, pulled up too hard and forgot the length of the craft. So used to tail-draggers over tricycles |

I also managed to powerslide a Spitfire Took a corner too fast, she went over on her starboard wing, spun slightly to the left and then righted herself Truely indestructible these Spits, particularly since you hit me about three or four times with the He-162 according to the playback. Then you BBQ'd yourself into oblivion. Your outing with the 262 was memorable too, I saw you come out and prepared to dive on you after you'd taken off and before you could climb to danger altitude. Then I just saw a fireball on the taxi-way and 'Task Force bailed out'. |

I was so frustrated that this 1000kg bomb did zero damage to the parked planes. It was a SB1000 (I guess SB stands for Splitterbombe which means cluster bomb). Since when are planes immune to cluster bomb attacks? The entire fore field was full of craters and all camo nets had been destroyed but all the planes were still there good as new. Even those that were 2 metres away from the impact point of the bomb. Are they friggin tanks?

Interesting...on my screen the whole lot went up. Bombers and all. There wasn't an explosion though, which was odd, just a small lag spike and then all the planes and hanger-things went damaged and black.

Seems the DF night was a succes, so why dont we have a team versus team dogfight on fridays?
unfortunate the scripts don't work, unless you program a dedicated server file to recognize victory conditions...and I haven't got a clue how that all works. so instead, the goal is to accumulate as much points you can per team in a time limit or something, Bases/fleets/etc provide nice point farms. but instead of having all the aircraft to pick, I divide them in groups for example - all the Bi-planes / All the aircraft till 1939 / All Carier aircraft and so on and on. The mission will look different too, one has 2 aircraft bases, the other has 2 fleets, the other has 2 harbours or a fortified city/town. I will pick small/online maps so we don't get lost. there's one strict rule....when we dogfight the External death camera mod is turned off, to make it a fair fight and we'll have to decide either to defend or go offensive or divide roles in a team. when we discover you have it turned on, you and your team are..disqualified and ofcourse the offender banned for the next Dogfight Friday how does it sound? Monday - Wednesday : Co-Op Campaign Friday - Team vs Team Dogfight HunterICX

That sound cool, we might need the break from the co-op campaign and honing our skills in dogfight.
