Heh cute but nah for me anyhow, I've had cluttered desktops since windows 3.11.. It would be weird not having it any more.

Why not just do what I do and create some folders on the desktop called for example Utilities & drag all icons of that type there, you can then change the folders icon, as in my desktop to something nice!
