Pirates seize British cargo ship in Gulf of Aden
http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/africa...eized.somalia/
I'm really surprised the western nations have not jumped on this with both feet. Seems like an excellent opportunity for target practice. Send out a Q-ship and when the pirates show up, a 688 takes them out.

She's not British Flagged, she's Italian Flagged. So much for the RN to the rescue ... flags of convenience doesn't allow for modern naval law, attack in self-defense allowances. What about the Italian Navy, can't they go in. So woes up for taking these companies to task, and requiring them to flag in country of ownership?
------------------------- News Update! US Flagged, Dutched Owned, M/V Maersk Alabama has been hijacked off the coast of Somalia. The crewmembers are members of SUI. Now my question is, what will be the Administration's response? This is the first time, of note, that a US flagged vessel has been the target of a successful pirate hijacking off the coast of Somalia. Where are the SEALs?
