< Can reach me on Skype as well.

Or Steam. Easier troubleshooting.

Shafts 2A and 2B finally connected, I intend to eventually do the same with all shafts so they make one big square and then start to slice the squares into smaller ones until they're riddled with shafts. New bases will be build on the corners of the big squares from which I then expand in similar square fashion.

Are there something wrong with me?

I have seen the reference "minecraft" several places on the net over the last few days. When I saw it here, I had to check out what it was about.

And the I was like: What? This kinda game on subsim?

To be frank: this seems like a teenage-grind-kinda game.

Anybody who was in the same boat, but ended up liking it?

If you liked playing with Legos, you'll love it. It's not so much about grinding for more iron, gold and whatnot, as it is about construction.

Kinda fun to assemble bridges, towers, castles, underground complexes and even underwater habitats, and tie it all together with tunnels and tracks. Very constructive outlet, let's you be creative and use your imagination to its full extent.

* server is fine btw. No problems yet, though we haven't tried stuff with redstone yet.

The smelting works fine. The progress bar doesn't show, but it still works.

Only thing is that you're invincible, along with all creatures. Turned monster-spawn off since there's no point to them. It's a nice map with mountains and littered with caves.

24/7, will give notice of reboots for updates and whatnot, 4 hours in advance if possible.
