Just bought a new computer...
I've finally decided to upgrade to a newer baby...
My old custom model was over 6 years old now. I can barely enjoy the latest games at rez 1680x1050 with out killing FPS Even though I've tweaked it and maximized its potential I think with the newer games comming out I need a monster.... Old Rig was. Intel P4 3.2E GHZ 800MHz 1mb L2 cache PGA 478 Intel D865PERLX motherboard w/snd w/lan OCZ Titanium Dual Channel PC3200 1meg chips 2325 XFX Nvidia GeForce7600GT 256meg AGP Soundblaster X-Fi Elite Pro Western Digital WD2000JD 200Gigs SATA LG GSA-H10L DVD Burner Antech True 480 powersupply Antech aluminum Tower Such a good built computer and tough girl... New rig Dell XPS 730 Intel Quad Core 2 Q9550 (12mb, 2.83GHz, 1333FSB) Aluminum chassis 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333Mhz 750GB Seagate 7200 SATA 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache Nvidia GeForce GTX280 1024megs Default 16x CD/DVD burner will add my LG to it for dual dvds Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Music, I don't know if its onboard on the nForce mother board? I will swap it with my elite pro if not onboard? Don't know yet... 1000Watts powersupply .... Well I'm not rich but it rocks for my purposes... I'm going to give my old rig to my 5 year old daughter she can play with it.... Like SH3 hehehe and SPORE she likes making the monsters... What to do with the new power....:hmm: |
