Colombian Coast Map
Here's my Colombian Coast map I've made for Dangerous Waters. It's perfect for drug interdiction or counter-narcotics operations.
https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/dow...o=file&id=6338 Between the 1970s and 1990s, the 'Windward Route', from the Guajira Peninsula in northern Colombia, through the Jamaica Channel to the Bahamas and on to Florida, was popular for air and sea smuggling of both marijuana and cocaine. Included also are the Barranquilla and Riohacha training ranges, for exercises with the Military Forces of Colombia. It's essentially 'blank' of triggers, scripts, ships and submarines, for you to make your own missions. All landmarks, features, and EEZ boundaries are marked as accurately as possible. On the map, the marked oil rigs are fictitious, as at May 2023, they've been officially 'removed' - But I thought I'd include them for gameplay. Research Credits go to Wikipedia, World Sea Ports (https://www.searates.com/maritime/), NGA Maritime Safety Navigational Warnings and marineegions.org (for EEZs)and various notices to mariners and news websites. The restricted airspace coordinates are from the FlightSim program, LittleNavMap. All information was accessed from publically available sources. ****A HUGE thank you must go to FPSChazly for making his great 'line-marking' program.**** Installation: Place in your DW/Scenario folder - you know what to do! Disclaimer: Naturally, download at your own risk. I take no responsibility for any adverse effects to your computer by downloading these files. Feedback (and requests) welcome via the Subsim forums! Cheers! Stewy
