I'm running D-Fend Reloaded which is a GUI-based Dosbox frontend, and what I did to make Fast Attack run was make an ISO out of the cd, then in the profile have it mounted as cd rom, then you can just install as usual and run the game.

Oh, and:

It's WAAAAY better IMHO. The game pays so much attention to detail and authenticity. Also the crew is much more active than in DW, the Sonar station is much more user friendly, the missions are much better and it actually looks better than DW, too. AFAIK the game's interface replicates the real-life BSY-1 system quite well and all panels are sharp and well drawn. The main drawback is that the TMA screen requires much clicking but with practice generating a shooting solution is pretty straight forward.

have to look into this more...
in the meantime, i found a site to DL FA for free..
did that,,ran DOSBOX, followed directions and got FA to run the first time..
now when i try to get it to run with DOSBOX it says "cd no longer in C drive".
i have FA in a folder on C drive..can,t figure out why it won,t launch again??

how do you make an iso from the cd?? is it the same as what i DL,ed??
