I guess i'll be helpful...
Welcome to Subsim!!!!
You must download JSGME (just search it on Subsim) and then you must copy those files into the directory of your Silent Hunter (1,2,3,4,5) and then you unzip (using WinRAR or 7Zip) those files into a folder in the aforementioned directory that is called MODS just the way I have spelled it. Then you open up JSGME and on the left side there will available mods and on the right activated mods. Select on of the available mods and click on the top button that is in the middle it looks like so: > Then your mod will be active and you can then run Silent Hunter (1,2,3,4,5) assuming you meant how to mod Silent Hunter Your Welcome, --- GilligansBoat

It took me two years to figure out how to mod silent hunter games. I thought you had to download JSGME into the Sh3 documents folder. That documents folder is so misleading. It wasn't until I mistakenly clicked on the SH3 desk top icon and clicked go to file location, then I finally found where the game's main directory was.
