Default FFG Acoustic station - updating directional contacts?

When using the acoustic station on the FFG, I can find contacts easily enough using DICASS buoys set to 'directional'.

When I press 'mark', they're marked on the map.

However, these marks don't seem stay updated - I have to drop the contact, then re-mark them to keep them accurate.

Is there a simpler way to do this? So that they update automatically, or every time I press 'mark' (without manually dropping the contact first).

Edit; Maybe they actually update automatically, just rather slowly? I was trying to delete this post so I could test it more first... But can't work out how to, sorry.

In my experience, a mark should update the position. However, that's been on MH-60s and P-3s. I haven't marked sonobuoy contacts on a Perry in a while.
