do I understand correct? you have to log onto the web every 7 days !
Hi
Do I understand this all correctly in that you must log into the web site every 7 days to keep the program running even after you bought it?? wow Yes, I fully do understand game domain and protection against piracy, please do not get me wrong. But often I work on a ship for 3 to 9 month deployments with no Internet connectivity. Military does that when your on Icebreakers way up north or way down south. This type and mode of protection would, by its nature, make the program a nogo and I am one who LOVES WWI Naval battles. I hope it is not so, or there is a endround solution. thanks |

No. Actually the game connects to SES behind the scenes everytime you launch it. Only if you haven't launched the game for 7 days or more without internet access the license will be locked until you have access to the internet again.
I don't like this phoning home protection either, and so I did not buy Distant Guns nor Jutland... |

If you're on the REAL war ship - why won't you play in a REAL game then? Just kidding.
As for your question - it's sad but true. I know a few guys who also declined game by the reason of it's protection... Hope guys in SES know what they do... |

Just to clarify, once you buy the game, the system works as follows:
