Default [REL]GermanWWII Gramophone Kaleuns edition V1.5

Ahoy Kaleuns

This is a mod which gives you some nice old music for the kaleuns gramophone. just for the gramophone. i like the stock music in the game. this is untouched

its for german kaleuns only. german wartime music, a mix of military music and songs around those days. starring with a lot of others are Hans Albers, Heinz Ruehmann and Marlene Dietrich etc.

its real german warstuff inthere, most of them are songs but some military stuff as well. if you get offended by this DONT DOWNLOAD or listen to it. warned you, no complains afterwards thank you.

the sh.sdl file inside makes your gramophone louder, so you can attack the enemy and listen to the music. but dont listen to the music when using sound sensitive torpedos :rotfl:

just copy & paste the sound file into your data folder :programfiles/ubisoft/silenthunter4/data or use a installer

ehm..and its for version 1.5..the german addon campaign..u-boot addon

salute

It's nice, but kind of thin. Have you heard this one, put together by somebody for SH3 a couple of years ago?

@ Sailor Steve

yep you re right..bit thin Was intended to be used as a "sometimes listen to the
grammi-mod"..not a total sound replacement. Cause i like the stock sound of the game.

But...downloading your very nice work and will listen to it.
the kaleuns grammi was empty so i just wanted to give the sailors some music from the "heimat" along. think its fun to shot at a enemy and listen to "a sailor from singapore" at the same time. (ok just freighters..not so intelligent against warships)

played SH3 looong ago and was driven away by the grafics..resolution :rotfl:

ahoy and good hunting

Yep. Those are all just music for the gramophone as well. I turn off the 'in-game' music, because to me it's to much like a movie, or a...well, a game.:rotfl:

Ahoy Kaleuns

A new version is up. Had to cut off some stuff which was too much propaganda in my opinion. Military music yes but no politics if possible. Difficult cause the german sound around that time was full of it. Checked the text again and seems better now ..ok ones still left but thats a funny one ...& added some more music.

I have my little collection of german military marches and songs. Something coming from old movies (i.e "where eagles dare" theme).
Not much but it is nice.

Excuse me, but what was the propaganda you wiped out?

@ AndyCaccia

ah i dont want to mention them especially..two songs with "Führer" & "Vaterland" inside. i m german speaking so i understand every word they sing and i know history very well...it wasnt in my intention to create something political, just military music. wanted to keep it as realistic as possible thats all. some seaman music, bit marchmusic and songs of the beloved who stayed at home alone.

salute and good hunting

I understand and respect your position.

But I think everyone here would not take as "politically uncorrect" every song/propaganda/speech. So do not be afraid. :p
If so, even playing simply from the german side would be a political crime. It is always Nazi Germany after all..

However you've showed a great sensibility, and that is surely a good thing.
Thanx!

More then a few german commanders such as Luth prohibited the playing of British and American music or any music of the enemy.
