This is probably the best U-boat model I've ever seen.
You know I've seen some professionally built 1:72 U-boat models and many of them tend to overdone it making their model beautiful to look at i.e artistic but rather unrealistic.
But check this out This is done just right. Awesome looking boat that looks just like a real one. http://www.rokket.biz/models/modelsw...finished.shtml Damn it this model makes me want to re-weather my model especially the lower parts. Awesome job. ps:pls mod don't move this thread as I intend this to be read by SH3 fans.

You should check out Siara's build thread here:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=123846 But I agree with you: great weathering on this one.

All she needs is a U-Boat pen to go in.

That model is made by good friend of mine- Wink Grise.
Actually his model was inspiration behind my project. Wink is running his own forum for submarine builders. This forum gathers some of the best builders from around the world, and experts in submarrine subject. We have few VIIC/41 taking shape there, and some XXI, and XXIII models also, aswell as some beautiful waterline dios. Let me add, that Wink is working along Dougie Martindale on the new PE designed for Type II U-Boot, and with over 360 parts it sure will be the winner. |

Oh Siara judging from your propellers alone if that's any telltale your model is going to be a sick one
