Grey Wolves GWX 3.0: Couple Questions
I have GWX 3.0 v 1.4 installed and will try to get back into it after an absence.
1) Is there a newer version? 2) How to rendezvous with milk cows during patrol because I've never done it? It wasn't possible in the vanilla game before modding. Thanks in advance for replies. |

hi monsterzero_jr
Docking at Milk Cows head to Milk Cow when you see the sub/ship come in to view and your 500/1000 meters away press the escape key then click end mission it gives you the option to dock at the milk cow you then leave the game. Then fire up the Commander Mod then alter days spent in port between patrols from the default 28 to 1 and click apply then launch SH3/GWX through the Commander Mod and there you are at the Milk Cow but will have full fuel and a full load out of Torpedoes and deckgun shells and only 24 hours has past since docking at the Milk Cow. Happy Hunting Sir Salute

Regarding milk cows, even better install H.sie's patch then there is no need to leave the game, use SH3 Commander, etc. and the resupply of fuel and torpedoes is more historically accurate too vs. a full load of each.

John I have that patched installed and when trying to resupply I had to exit the game. I didn't lose that many days, but what did I do wrong? I want to be able to just continue and take the chance of not getting a full compliment of torps. I thought you were suppose to exit mission then continue mission, tried that but got no supply at all, this is early in the war.

Then the game advances one day you get some fuel (not full) and up to a max of four torpedoes as that is all they could carry. Fwiw regarding the represented surface resupply ships, though they do in the game they never supplied torpedoes in real life. Also, these comments are only regarding meeting with the u-tankers (milk cows) which don't show up until 1942. Which did you try at; the u-tankers or a surface supply ship ?

Check his instructions; I believe the surface ships are handled via exit though not sure as I don't use them.

Look at this thread ;
https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=243535 You need to rename the supply ships to a U tanker. Good hunting, FUBAR295
