Lost RAM
I know there are 2 sticks of 512 MB, in the tower. My Computer properties shows 640 MB, video card nevida has own ram. HELP ?

Open the box and reseat the memory. If that doesnt make it available - swap the sticks around. If it still fails - try one at a time - in each socket. At that point its either a bad stick of ram, or a bad socket on the mb. If you use only one stick at a time and it works in one slot but not the other - its the slot.

Must be to much cigarette tar in my air
Cleaned sockets, & strip contacts w/ contact cleaner, all is well. Sprayed, & Q-tip wiped.
