Default Why do some MP maps work, others not?

Dear friends,

I got myself 2 sub v sub maps from person a).
One map works just as expected. On map 2, all players are disconnected in the beginning of the game.
Then I got 4 maps from person b).
On all 4 of these maps, people get instantly disconnected upon start.

Paradoxical is the fact that I have seen all these maps played before on other hosts but when I host it doesn't seem to work.

I've done the same with all these maps, copied them to data\MultiMissions\English but why do most of these maps not work?

I have no mods running, reinstalled the game and the same issue reoccurs, so I'm basically stuck with the 1 sub vs sub map that actually works.
All the maps got the same filenames as the folders they are in, and the names don't contain any spaces.

I guess that it must be a problem of file exchange. The synchronizing process after loading goes by so fast that it suggests that there is no synchronization process going on, which i suppose means that none of the players received the map.

This might be a silly question, but do all the players have all of the maps copied to the correct location?

Dear Panser,

no, these are simply custom multiplayer missions that the other players don't have.

When you press 'start' it says "changing files" I guess that means that I'm uploading the map to other players.

I've noticed there's a difference between the sizes of the working map and the failing maps.

The working map is about 7kb in size, the failing maps are over 20kb.
