Default Chrome...again

So, for years I have used Chrome. And I have the Bookmark toolbar on, which is nice. And today, with no discernable reason, the icons on the toolbar just increased in size by 50%... what happened?

Never had this happen but you could try going into settings, then avanced (at bottom) and reset to original defaults and see if that sorts it.

Tried that, didn't work. Appreciate the suggestion.

Bingo! This seems to have fixed it, though.

This reddit thread seems to suggest that this is a Chrome bug. For now, a temporary workaround is to force HiDPI support in Chrome

To do this:

Right click on the Chrome link
Choose Properties and then add /high-dpi-support=1 /force-device-scale-factor=1 to the existing Link to your path to chrome.exe.
Be sure to close all running chrome processes from the taskbar before re-running the shortcut with the flags

Don't you just love the Internet? I upgraded to Ubuntu 16.10. Everything was great until I installed Steam. Pressed the icon. The icon danced around like it was actually doing something but Steam didn't launch.

Google, help me! "Steam won't launch in Ubuntu 16.10" and a couple dozen responses popped up. The third one totally fixed the problem and I was in business!
