the feature list looks great it must be said. is this game using one of the silent hunter game engines or is it a brand new one?

It's based on the Unity game development ecosystem, which means it basically uses it's own engine on top of what the Unity environment offers. Unity handles all the basic rendering stuff and offers useful things like PhysX integration.
