Sorry to kinda Necro this.... but how the hell did you get into LaSpezia?
I went in with snorkel (has anti-radar coating) until the DD coverage got really hot (wasnt detected yet). Went down to 100m and if detected down to 120m... had to alternate using ventilation for oxygen (under blue lighting), and pump the bilge as it kept flooding in my control room. 3x now i get to the last screen of DD's ...get detected....and finally they find me and depth charge me to death. Im also struggling with the discipline system...keep having to knock out crewmen! |

It's very easy to attack the ships moored at Malta port
I can just shoot'em right from the approach. |

I'm just grateful I can ignore HQ orders for LaSpezia. I've survived with my crew (er, most of them) into 1943 and getting near Gibraltar feels like being too near a hornet's nest. Back in 1940, air patrols were pretty scarce, and now I can't go far without feeling the heat. And although, some skippers here tangle with aircraft - shooting down some, I'm a dive and live kinda sailor.
