Default Pacific Storm allies campain crash on windows 11

Hi, I'm having this problem and I can't figure out how to fix it
I installed the game via Steam and it launches without problems
Once I want to start a new campaign the game stops working and I go back to the Desktop
How can it be solved?
PS: i downloaded the game from Steam

Support Welcome back!

uboot556!!....WIN 11 causes game difficulties; I've avoided upgrading from WIN10, no matter how many insistant upgrade requests I get on my damn computer.
