What we do here is screenshot ART... that means if you want to make your shots all fanciful, don't be afraid to do a little dirty work. Don't always rely on those magical auto-features. Real life artist usually don't have the benefit of a computer anyways.

Ok, more specifically... if wires are jagged or pixelated, I draw my own lines and vectors on top of them (on a seperate layer). Then I simply delete the old lines (using the clone tool), and voila. Fade and blur your lines when necessary.

Edges are even easier... just smudge and clone...

And don't forget to come up with your own ideas whenever possible. Hope this helps everyone!
