If you press [Windows key]-R and type in
%windir%\system32\eventvwr.msc /s
It should bring up the event viewer
If you could post the .NET error associated with the crash I'd at least have an idea how to fix it.
It would look something like:
I'm looking for the error which source is the ".NET Runtime"
