We should look for those messages, and make our campaign messages to reflect them, in style and essence, with additional information on each nation whose ships might become valid targets. If need be, we can change ship armament, paint schemes, lights, unit types, etc. roster by roster. Creating dummy copies of the existing ships and equipping them as per need, is easy enough, and the player would still identify those copies as their parent unit.
