The second mission we all took one He-111 with Hunter piloting, it started out fairly normal...

Then suddenly got very dramatic as a flight of I-16s bounced us from dead ahead, they curved around and came in quickly from astern

We got shot up, but carried on, dumping our bombs on Leningrad before turning back for base, our starboard engine dying mid-route

The I-16s followed us back but were content to feast on the AI while we made a dash for the airstrip

Victory doughnut!
