Sure, so far as I know or have learned from others over the years, all Silent Hunter editions have been based on latitude and longitude coordinates as a cartesian system. Throw your spherical geometry mathbook out of the port hole. If you really want it printed then I'd say go patch some screenshots together. Though you should make sure you don't change the zoomlevel. There's not really any use in plotting on an empty grid I think. Personally I really like to use the map drawing tools. Apart from editing mark names or add other remarks, you've got all the functionality you need since SH3 came with propper drawing tools.
