Poland is set to accept the Patriot air defense systems offered by Germany to defend its airspace after all. Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak wrote on Twitter on Tuesday that work was underway to station the Patriots on Polish territory and place them under Polish command.

However, Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht (SPD) had already insisted that the German air defense systems are part of NATO's integrated air defense. There had initially been no talk of placing the weapons systems under Polish command.

Maybe Poland would consider to rename into Provokeland...? And just in: since they are at it again, they have raised their demands for German reparations. They now want 1.3 trillion. I am sure they know the meaning of that certain phrase that begins with F.
