i've noticed that GWX manual advices player not to use magnetic pistols in rough water conditions (or somewhere else?); that confuses me cuz i suppose rough water disturb the track of torpedos making impact pistol harder to trigger?

and ah GWXmod sends a raido message in November,39, order u-boats to use magnetic pistols only... but at the current date magnetic pistol is rather much more unreliable than impact ones yes?

can anybody help me understand those?
