I've had that problem or something like that along time ago. I use to save all my NAV MAP marking. you know all the X'es and lines I used to navigate with, etc,they were all over the map. If I cleared all marking the issue cleared up too. Of course when your on the attack, your gonna have a lot of lines, X'es, circles and angles in the local area of your attack. That didn't effect my frames rates or slow things down. It was the accumulative effect of all marks all over the map. I hope this might help.
