Well, that was funny, I took a little break.
So, I was so so triggered by working on the scale model of a Torino, I launched a project to expand my garage workshop and procure a real 1970s Torino.
The garage project was to lengthen my existing garage 14 feet, so I would have room for the car. That was real construction, the bids I got were in the $40,000 range, so I did most of the work myself, cost was around $17,000.
Then the search for the Torino... that took a while. I may make another thread on that, not sure how many people in Subsim are interested in American Muscle cars...
But yeah, back to the 69 Torino Cobra model that stared all that... returned to it this weekend and wrapped it up. Funny thing, the chassis didn't really align with the wheels, so that had me scratching my head for a bit. Watched a few videos of guys making this car and they highlighted the same issue. Well, a little tweaking, I made it fit
