I have found out how to solve this problem even without deployment of UUV.You must simply come half of the range closer to one of the contacts.

In the result you will get very faint traces on the towed array broadband display.Then,you should just do a course change and drop the wrong (shifting) contact.Quite easy,actually.

I think that all those troubles in ambiguity resolutions occur primarily due to:

1.Contact is actually running slow.
2.Contact is somewhere on the limits of towed array detection range.

So,moving closer to one of the contacts solves everything out.This is just the matter of range and strength of the signal and nothing else.
