Yes, as I wrote in the first page, I am not sure either how realistic would be a PVC floor on a WWII sub. Not because its need to be dismountable (PVC carpets can be cut in pieces to fit the size of any bulkhead), but due to the inflammability of this material. On the other hand, due to its sound absorption properties, it would have been a good alternative to... the use of slippers during silent runnning

I think the same type of floor as seen in those pictures, is already featured in one of the interior mods available for SH5.
