Well, usually...

Thing flakes out if core gets above 82C. Temps are kept between 60c and 80C always thanks to custom fan profile (idles just below 60C at 40% fan > inaudible). Memory can overheat though; some games put ridiculous stress on mem, causing it to overheat before the core warms up (core heat causes fan to spin up). F.E.A.R. and Assassin's Creed have this problem. Setting fan cycle manually to 60% or 65% before starting the game fixes it.

*ps: I think my fan setup helps; all fans are exhaust, except 1 120mm front intake. Every bit of hot air is exhausted fast, keeping internal temps down.
