I'm beginning to think that with Microsoft ending support for Windows 7 that something didn't get updated anymore that allowed SH3 Commander to operate normally. I've been running GWX/SH3 Commander for years without any problem.

I tried re-installation of GWX & SH3C but ran into the same problem.

Anyway I'm glad you found a work around. At least I can still play.
