So clearly he is wrong about the original source. I guess it can happen when you do the impressive amount of converted ships this guy has in his account. I left a message in his post of the ship. Hopefully he will remember the original builder, so he can be credited properly.
In regard to extra French ships for SH3, I can recommend
Texelbo's ships (Vauquelin, Bougainville, Bearn and Le Fantasque) and also Malin built by
The Frog.
