they are excellent at using a few assets to make us use a load


their navy only goes to sea now and a gain


ours is 100% in service

more for less they have fewer ships even less that are modern and capable
yes they are expanding at a good rate but

do not forget they are losing loads that are too far gone to modernize or not compatible to be modernized


so their modernization is slow


"AND HARD TO MOD because its a MESS"



THIS is also why you see russian ships Bristling with weapons

THIS isent a good idear tho


1.) less room for your crew


2.) way dearer maintenance costs


3.) More chance of Malfunctions


4.) more chance for explosions from enemy fire

thats actually a good idea given the larger excess flat top space on a carrier or the sides



also if your crews are not in service all the time they lose their edge no matter how good you can not beat real life experience HANDS ON !!!!

i can give a new solider the better equipment but

a experienced solider will do more with less

Ill give a example on a firing range once i saw a solider start a live fire training course


it was timed

what you were suppose to do was conserve your ammo shoot as many targets as possible as fast and as best you could


no solider was given a brief and only one mag of 30 rounds


then told to Go !!!!!!!


this was multi nation exercise


any ways a few went in took a min or so


then this new guy went in & came out VERY FAST


& said "you haven't given us enough ammo"


so we went in AND ....


he had blown all 30 rounds on the first target


NOT ideal


i could have used a few navy examples but that one stayed with me
