Captain Midnights MORE CBS NEWS! MOD v1.2 Test it again. You should be able to leave the Save folder alone this time. If all is well, try adding the Environment, but delete the Save folder this time again. I am not 100% certain of its compatibility, but it should be OK.
We would have to wait from vickers03 to tell us if his Fleetboat Interiors mod is compatible with regular TMO. The one you have there is built for Bubblehead1980's re-do of TMO, which does have some differences from regular TMO. It looks like it might work, but... I dunno. I have PM'd him for you, and he might post back here shortly about that. For now, leave it out, or if you experiment and put it in, be sure and empty that Save folder again. If it does fail in your experiments, de-activate that mod and once again delete the Save folder. Then play without it. Getting things squared away on a 'modern' Windows OS can be a bother, but you'll get there...  |
Thank you for the reply friend! My SH4.exe does not seem to be the issue because it already had the [READ ONLY] box unchecked.
Unfortunately, I tried deleting the the SH4 folder in Documents and reapply the mods as you have suggested, and my game crashed as soon as I triggered a task force's hostility. This is a new game with only the following mods enabled:

New Narwhal TMO2.5_Support
I will try deleting and reinstalling everything again, but I have already done so twice, only to get the same results : (
