No errors any longer! Now you got it spot on right!!
With that I mean the 4:3 version, which gives the correct aspect ratio on my 1680*1050 widescreen monitor. The black ribbons on top & bottom are correct, too, as they are obscured in the game's main menu screen anyway. That means that ingame nothing is lost from the video. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Mille grazie!
Out of interest: what tool/utility did you use to convert Yoram's original version into this format?
Sidenote: The 4:3 version having the spot on correct aspect ratio for a 16:9 monitor, I think you might consider changing its name, as widescreen monitors definitely are not 4:3 (that was the old crt!). That said, maybe the 2 other versions are unnecessary?
